Occupation Certificate

MAKE OCCUPYING YOUR DEVELOPMENT A REALITY

When construction or redevelopment is complete, and the dust has settled, there’s one more step required that makes it legal to occupy your new development.

You need to acquire an Occupation Certificate.

This is required to demonstrate that every element of your new building is up to code and complies with your approved plans. It’s issued by a Principal Certifying Authority, the same person that’s been carrying out mandatory critical inspections at various stages throughout your development’s construction process. They’re familiar with your property, and understand what’s required in order to make it habitable.

However, it can be a difficult and time-consuming process, if you don’t know what you’re looking for.

So at CIVAC, we make it easy to acquire your Occupation Certificate. We manage the process for you and gather all the right documents and certificates during your construction process, and ensure the right people make the right mandatory inspections at the right times.

Your CIVAC Project Manager will manage and collate all the necessary documents for you, which include:

  • Electrical Certificates
  • Plumbing Certificates
  • Landscaping Certificates
  • Waterproofing Certificates
  • Mechanical Ventilation Certificates

Our goal is to make every step of your development easy for you and help make your property livable sooner.
