STARTING THE PROCESS

We meet with you to determine your needs

At CIVAC, our goal is to make your new project run as smoothly and as seamlessly as possible.

Our team will meet with you initially to discuss your project. We’ll talk through your project idea, determine what you want to achieve, flag any potential issues that we see, and start to gain an idea of what you want to see in your landscaping.

We then begin the process with you, and connect you with one of our experienced Landscape Architects who will help manage your landscape planning from start to finish.

COMPREHENSIVE PLANNING

We create a detailed brief

To create the right landscaping plans, first your Landscape Architect needs to understand your project—and your vision. So they work with you to create and populate a detailed brief, highlighting all your building and landscaping requirements, features, must-haves, and any details that serve to personalise your project

Once you approve this brief, we then have a strong understanding of how your landscaping may look, it’s time to start designing.

CREATING YOUR PLANS

A design-led process

Your Landscape Architect then gets to work creating the design for your new garden space. We take everything into account: the location of your property, its size, available space constraints, and even the personality of the surrounding neighbourhood. It’s all about designing a green open space that fits your needs, suits your aesthetic, and complies with all necessary Building Code of Australia and government planning requirements.

If we flag that anything may not be achievable at this point, your Landscape Architect will get in contact with you, and discuss any issues.

From the initial design meetings through to preparation of the final landscape architectural plans, our Landscape Architects and Project Managers will work with you to ensure that you are involved and remain fully informed during the entire design process.

APPROVING YOUR DESIGN

Your comprehensive landscaping plans

Once your landscape architectural plans have been drafted, you provide your Landscape Architect with approval—and then it’s time to get started, and see your building start to come to life.

They then provide this to your Project Manager, who will include this when organising for the necessary Approvals to take place.
