Achieving approval for your Development Application from your local council is a big step. They’ve now given their stamp of approval for your development to go ahead.
But after this comes the next important step: obtaining your Construction Certificate.
A Construction Certificate is a document you need that gives your construction the green light. It verifies that your construction plans are in line with the Building Code of Australia, states that any fees or contributions have been made and that all necessary development consent conditions have been satisfied.
At CIVAC, your Project Manager will work with you to manage the Construction Certificate approvals process. They walk you through the process, so you understand the requirements dictated by your local Council in the Conditions of Consent that come with the Development Approval, which need to be met so your Construction Certificate is able to be issued. These conditions can include:
- Construction Certificate Architectural Plans
- Construction Certificate Stormwater Engineering Plans
- Structural Engineering Plans
- Payment of Council Contributions
- Section 73 documentation
Our goal is to help you take the headache out of the application process. We understand all requirements and legislation in regards to the timely issuing of your Construction Certificate and work alongside a panel of experienced and efficient Accredited Private Certifiers, who can approve your Certificate and give your construction project the go-ahead.
Here’s how we do it.
